Terms & Conditions

Your use of the content and service provided on this website and any other website operated and/or controlled by The Allendale Group Limited ("the Website") are subject to these Terms and Conditions, the Copyright Statement, the Privacy Policy, the Returns Policy and Disclaimer Notice on this website ("the Terms") (click the "copyright statement", "privacy policy" and "disclaimer notice" to read these). We reserve the right to change these Terms from time to time, at our sole discretion. Your use of these services will mean that you expressly accept the Terms.
It is essential that our customers feel secure and have confidence in the services and products we offer. The Allendale Group operates the following voluntary e-Commence Trader Code. This code in no way invalidates customers statutory rights under law and is designed to enhance legal redress.

Cancellation and Refunds:

  1. Cancel any orders placed at any time before despatch without reason being given.
  2. Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 orders may be cancelled within 7 workings days and within 7 working days of goods received. In the event of an unwanted order being received, the 7 working day cancellation period begins on the day after the day that the goods were received. For more details please see our Returns Policy.

Prices

Prices shown are in UK Pounds as default (you may chose your countries currency using the drop down box on the top right hand of our web pages - This is only a guide and all orders will be debited in GBP Pounds Sterling). Postage and packing is charged on scale which reflects the quantity of the order, and the distance UK and worldwide. Full details can be found here.

Delivery

All orders are usually despatched same working day on orders and payment received before 2pm GMT. If for some reason we cannot deliver within the agreed time we will inform you immediately and, with your agreement, arrange another time for delivery.

Please Note: during busy periods it may take up to 72 hours for us to process and despatch your order.

Receipts, bills and settlement mistakes

We always provide a receipt with the goods (Normally located in the document wallet pouch on the front of the parcel), Account holders will receive there invoices either by post or electronically via e-mail/fax. We undertake to correct any mistakes in bills, receipts or payments as soon as possible.

Internet Orders

All orders are subject to management review and may be cancelled if management deems necessary. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error, error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, or from unauthorized users altering the content of our web site, The Allendale Group shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.

The Allendale Group shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, The Allendale Group shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. The Allendale Group reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information, which our credit and fraud avoidance departments require, before accepting any order.

Coupons & Discounts

A Coupon is a promotion that gives a coupon "code" to be entered on checkout on our e-commerce websites. Coupons are only valid for online ordering. The coupon cannot be be exchanged for cash or credit against prior purchases. Coupons cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. The coupon may only be redeemed once per order, per customer. Coupon Cash Value 0.0001p. Coupons are only valid until the date advertised on the coupon. Qualifying prices for coupons do not include the delivery cost of the order. Qualifying prices for coupons are the total of the items inc their VAT unless otherwise stated on the coupon. If a product has a non coupon based discount applied, the item discounted price inc VAT will be used to total for the coupon qualifying price unless otherwise stated on the coupon.

Redemption of Free Delivery Coupons is rewarded with Free Basic Delivery unless otherwise stated on the coupon, any other delivery selected on checkout will be overridden by our despatch staff.

Price Match Guarantee

We'll match our competitor's current UK store or website price. The competitor's item must be brand new, identical to ours, and offered on the same terms. We and the competitor must have stock ready for delivery. We must be able to verify the competitor's price and stock position. We'll match the price of an item and if the item is successfully matched, we will also offer you a 5% discount voucher for your next purchase. Delivery and other charges not included when considering price matches with a competitors item. Cannot be used with any other offer.

Returns Policy

Our returns policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. If you have any specific queries regarding our returns policy please contact us at [email protected].

Goods ordered may only be returned within the first 14 working days for a full product refund including VAT, providing the following conditions are fulfilled:

  • Goods returned must be received in as new condition.
  • Goods must be returned complete (including all packaging, cables, manuals, CD’s etc for that product). If any item(s) are missing when received then the product is deemed incomplete and will be returned to the purchaser.
  • All returns must be authorised, to request a return of a product please complete the Customer Returns Request form.
  • Carriage costs for returning the Goods are your responsibility.
  • The Goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by us.
  • All goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • When an order is cancelled, this is confirmed with the customer and cancelled off on our system. The refund will be processed by our accounts team and returned back to the original source of payment within 2 business days.
  • Goods which are returned for a refund are given a returns number and logged and inspected upon arrival by our onsite engineer. The refund will be processed by our accounts team and returned back to the original source of payment within 5 business days.

Any item(s) returned that are incomplete, damaged, used or without a valid RMA will not be accepted. Any goods that are damaged or require parts/labour to get in a saleable condition these costs incurred will be deducted from the refund total.

Product Warranty

The Allendale Group Ltd guarantee all products (unless otherwise stated) for one year from date of purchase. During this period The Allendale Group Ltd will repair or replace all defective products free of charge (return to base warranty), except for products/units subject to fair wear and tear.

To qualify for benefits under the guarantee you must have installed and used the product in accordance with The Allendale Group Ltd instructions or user manual supplied with the goods. Consequential losses and accidental damage to the product are not covered by the guarantee. The Allendale Group Ltd cannot be responsible for results of using our products for any purposes other than those described in the relevant instructions or user manual.

Consumable items such as Batteries, solder tips, Heating Elements etc are not covered under this warranty. If at any time you are unsure as what is covered by our 12 month warranty please Contact Us.

Environmental Policy

The Allendale Group Ltd recognises that its operations impact upon the environment have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. We acknowledge a responsibility for, and a commitment to, protection of the environment at all levels.

As a consequence of this, the management are committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution.

The Allendale Group will comply with environmental legislation and is in addition committed to continued efforts to:

The Allendale Group will continually review its environment policy and procedure to ensure the company maintains the highest possible standards.

RoHS Compliance

The RoHS directive restricts the use of certain hazardous substances commonly used in the manufacturing of electronic equipment and requires producers of electronic equipment to reduce the concentration of these hazardous materials which include:

  • Cadmium
  • Lead
  • Mercury
  • Hexavalent Chromium
  • Polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB)
  • Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE)

The RoHS directive states that as of July 1, 2006, electrical and electronic equipment manufacturers must eliminate the use of all of the above materials. Although RoHS is a European Union (EU) Directive, manufacturers of EEE outside Europe must also abide by this legislation if the equipment they produce is ultimately imported into an EU member state.
